Easyway Maid Service is looking to recruit home cleaners for year-round full-time and part-time work.
We are the highest paying cleaning service in Austin, with our most senior cleaners making $25/hour, and brand new employees making $18/hour. We hire experienced and detailed cleaners, with high attention-t0-detail and self-motivated work ethic. If you are the type of person who does good work because being good at your job is part of your identity, we are the best fit for you.
Because we expect such high standards from our cleaners, we also provide excellent pay and many opportunities for performance-based monthly bonuses. We want to keep the same employees for 5, 10, or 15+ years, and we know the best way to do that is to provide an enjoyable and profitable work environment for all our employees. You will get to know our staff and be able to reach us whenever needed during the work day. We are fast to respond with any on-the-job problems, and provide a training program and orientation so you can get used to our policies and cleaning checklists.
Process for hiring and training housekeepers
- Application/interview process
- Background check and calling professional references
- Providing Employee Guide and tax paperwork (W-2, I-9, etc.)
- 1-2 week mentorship with Senior Cleaning Team (paid $10/hr during this time)
- 3 month probationary period (paid $18/hr during this time)
- Promotion to Senior Cleaning Tech at 3 months, pay raise to our flat-rate cleaning rates, and $20/hr for hourly cleaning jobs)
- Performance based raises, with a maximum hourly rate of $25/hr
Job Pay Details:
Training Period – $10 per hour – 1-2 weeks long
Probationary Period (Junior Cleaning Tech) – $18 per hour – 3 months long
Senior Cleaning Tech – flat-rate cleaning fees (detailed in the Team Pay Chart below) and $20 per hour for hourly bookings – 3 months from hire date

Good online customer reviews ($25 per review)
No complaints ($100 bonus per month)
Before/after maid service photos ($25 per month)
We are looking primarily for full-time cleaners, but can work around your schedule if you want to start out part-time. We do not mind if you work another job while in your 3-month probationary period. You are welcome to work for other cleaning companies as well during this time. As long as you’re available at least 3 days a week, we can still hire you.
Here is an example of one of our cleaning checklists. This is for our Standard Cleaning Package:
- 3+ years residential cleaning experience
- Available to work in Austin, TX and throughout Travis County
- Reliable vehicle
- Fluent in English
- Willing to take full criminal background check
- Legally able to work in the US
We offer both flat-rate and hourly cleaning service.
90% of our bookings are flat rate, which is found to be preferred by customers and cleaners alike.
We charge the customer a base rate depending on the number of bedrooms in the home, plus the number of bathrooms. The customer can add extras like oven cleaning or inside window cleaning, which is also added to your pay based on the pay chart above.
Most times, teams end up making $20/hour per cleaner, as the cleanings sometimes take less time than expected.
We send out notifications by text, email, and on our web platform when you are sent a job. This way, you never have to worry about remembering which clients you have. We keep it all organized in a calendar for you.
Payment is by weekly direct deposit every Friday.
We prioritize teams with high customer ratings, especially those who have been working with us longest.
